A long night at the Rose Garden

This one was over early. Turn the page and move on. It was all Portland from start to finish.

116-74 the final.  You already know this but Greg Oden is going to be a major force in the NBA. Big time. He alters shots, block shots and is a monster on the boards.

No Luol Deng (hamstring) but it wouldn't have mattered. The Blazers came out smokin' hot. The Blazers led 34-13 at the end of one. Led by as many as 47. The competitive fire wasn't there for the Bulls.

Both the Hawks and Wiz needed a win...Atlanta prevailed snapping a four game losing streak. My main man for the Hawks, Marvin Williams with 14 boards. The Hawks pulled down 58 boards.

The Wizards drop to 1-8. Will Ernie Grunfeld make a move?

Jermaine O'Neal with a 16 point, 17 rebound game as the Raps beat the Heat. Bosh with a double-double. Bargnani with 25. D-Wade with a monster game of 40 points and 11 assists. He also drew a flagrant for slapping Kris Humphries. Not good.

The Cavs eight game win streak is over losing to the Pistons. Detroit shot 51%.

OKC isn't just bad, they are REALLY bad. 1-10 after losing to the Clippers. Chris Kaman with a 25 and 14 game.

John Salmons is having a monster start of the season. The Kings may win some-lose some but they're fun to watch. Salmons with 29. Sac beat the Hornets on the road. Impressive!

Minnesota got a much needed win beating Philly.

Here come the Mavs...Jason Terry with 31. Rockets lose at home.
