Bulls cool off Suns on a busy night in NBA

On his pre-game show , Bulls Head Coach Vinny Del Negro stated that if the Bulls were to beat the Suns they must share the basketball and play unselfishly.  Mission accomplished. After playing "one and done" against the Cavs  on Wednesday, the Bulls swung the ball from side to side finding the open man for good looks and high percentage shots.

Five Bulls scored in double figures and played with a ton of energy. Joakim Noah played his  best basketball of the season pulling down fourteen boards,  Tyrus Thomas came off the bench and played well as did Ben Gordon  who led the Bulls in scoring with 23.  Luol Deng was rock solid in the second half.

Kirk Hinrich suffered a thumb injury and will undergo an MRI Saturday; Drew Gooden suffered an ankle injury and will be evaluated Saturday as well.

The Cavs in town tonight at 730.  Cleveland got a 27 point 9 rebound  8 assists game from LeBron..

Congrats to a GREAT man and a GREAT coach..Jerry Sloan became the first coach in NBA history to win 1-thousand games  with the same team. Utah remained unbeaten at 5-0 as the Jazz beat OKC.

Break up the Hawks! Josh Smith is gone 2-4 weeks with an ankle injury but Atlanta on its home court ripped the Raps.

Allen Iverson scored 24 in his Pistons debut but NJ got a career high 38 from Devin Harris as the Nets surprised Detroit.

Former Bull Chris Duhon has twelve assists-no turnovers as the Knicks kept the Wizards winless.  The Knicks came up with 36 assists  -no way we would have seen that last year

No this is not an error--the Bobcats beat the Hornets.

Let's give some props to Kendrick Perkins.   Seven blocks as Boston cruised past the Bucks.

Tony Parker suffered an ankle injury. He's out 2-4 weeks . His Spurs got hammered by D-Wade and the Heat   How good was Wade? 33 points 10 rebounds 9 assists.

Spencer Hawes showing me something with a 13 point 8 rebound game as the Kings lit up the T-Wolves for 121 points.
